A 26-year-old man was injured after he allegedly climbed the fence surrounding the property and was shot on April 13, based on an incident report from the Troutman Police Department (TPD).
The investigation into the taking pictures "has been completed and closed," TPD stated in a Facebook publish on Thursday. "Investigators have consulted with the Iredell County District Attorney's Office and there will be no criminal charges filed at this time."
The particular person was shot on a soccer area exterior a mansion that based on CNN affiliate WSOC belongs to DaBaby, whose actual title is Jonathan Kirk.
When police arrived on the residence, they discovered a person affected by a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, TPD stated in an earlier assertion. The sufferer was transported by Iredell County EMS to a medical facility to deal with his damage.
Although police wouldn't verify to CNN that DaBaby owns the house in Troutman, which is roughly 35 miles north of Charlotte, North Carolina, they stated he was current when the taking pictures occurred.
Troutman Police didn't launch the title of the shooter.
A supervisor for DaBaby declined to remark on the time of the taking pictures.
The eight-time Grammy-nominated rapper is a North Carolina native.
