Ajith's Valimai is gearing up for Pongal launch and the followers are eagerly ready for brand new updates. Directed by H Vinoth, the movie is billed as an action-packed mass entertainer.
Telugu actor Kartikeya Gummakonda performs the villain function within the movie. However, in a latest interview with Cinema Vikatan, director H Vinoth revealed that Kartikeya was not the primary option to play the baddie.
When he first briefed Ajith concerning the villain's character and appears, the actor felt that both Arjun Das or Prasanna would slot in the invoice. But Vinoth felt in any other case and he defined why he thought they will not swimsuit the antagonist's function. Vinoth needed to forged Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas for the function however he was unavailable attributable to date points. Later, Kartikeya was roped in after the director was impressed by his efficiency in RX 100.
Valimai marks the second collaboration of the director with Ajith. The two labored collectively in Nerkonda Paarvai, the Tamil remake of Hindi hit Pink.
Also starring Huma Quereshi, Pugazh, Yogi Babu, and Achyuth Kumar, the movie has cinematography by Nirav Shah and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
